Don’t miss it! On Wednesday, December 16th at 6PM, the Post Falls Highway District will vote on whether or not to continue the Greensferry River Crossing into Phase 2. We have been informed that in-person attendance is not permitted at this meeting, though it is important that we participate virtually to show our discontent and implore the commissioners (civilly) to vote NO on continuing this project.

See you there, “virtually”.
Thank you for all your hard work!
Watched the meeting, no decision yet, but it was an hour+ presentation about the several challenges that would increase the cost another the $37 million estimate for construction
The info in the website re decision-making was not correct. The 2 hour HDR presentation in Zoom was very informative, and from my point of view, useful enough for the commissioners to make a decision whether to move ahead. But they chose not to ask for any comments from the meeting attendees, and chose not to make a decision, and I believe they didn’t say when they would make the decision. A call to their office next day revealed that they plan to make a decision at their next meeting on January 6th. Not clear if they will take any verbal comments. Seems like they still take written comments on their website. My opinion is that, given the huge initial feelings of the local community that the bridge is mostly unwanted, the gamble for voter bond approval is too big , and additional expenditure for the next phase of engineering would be a big waste of taxpayer funds.
No bridge, I thought the crowd made it clear that they did not want a bridge, you need to listen to the public.
Thank you, Pam Tyler
No bridge at all, the public said we did do not want a bridge. Listen to the public…
